Local campaigns are built by people giving whatever time they can, whether that is regularly or only now and then. Some people help every week. Others come out when they can. Every contribution matters, and strong local campaigning depends on local people stepping forward.
What volunteers can do
There are plenty of ways to help, including:
- Deliver leaflets
- Canvass on the doorstep
- Help at campaign events
- Make phone calls
- Help with admin and organisation
- Support polling day activity
- Assist with data entry or voter follow-up
You do not need experience
No experience is needed to get involved. You can help as much or as little as you like. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, and there are roles for those who prefer behind-the-scenes work just as much as for those who are happy to be out campaigning in public.
